Ingredients

- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tablespoon milk
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Butter or cooking spray for greasing
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket with butter or cooking spray.
- Place one slice of egg-coated bread in the air fryer basket.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the bread.
- Air fry for 4-6 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Carefully remove and repeat with the second slice of bread.
- Serve immediately.

- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
