Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound andouille sausage, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced andouille sausage and cook until browned on both sides. Remove sausage from skillet and set aside.
  3. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
  5. Return the sausage to the skillet. Stir to combine and heat through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
