- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 4 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp fresh herbs, chopped (e.g., thyme, rosemary)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Unfold the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the puff pastry into desired shapes (e.g., squares or rectangles).
- Arrange the asparagus spears and mozzarella slices on top of the puff pastry.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
- While the pastry bakes, mix the honey and chopped herbs in a small bowl.
- Drizzle the herb honey over the baked pastries before serving.
