Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add cooked macaroni, bacon, cherry tomatoes, celery, and red onion to the bowl. Stir to combine.
  4. Gently stir in shredded lettuce just before serving.
  5. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a lighter version.
  • Add grilled chicken for a heartier meal.
