Creamy macaroni salad with the classic flavors of a BLT sandwich.
Ingredients

- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Add cooked macaroni, bacon, cherry tomatoes, celery, and red onion to the bowl. Stir to combine.
- Gently stir in shredded lettuce just before serving.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a lighter version.
- Add grilled chicken for a heartier meal.
- This salad is best served the same day it is made.
