Description

A simple baked French toast casserole with cinnamon and maple flavor.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Arrange bread slices in a single layer in the prepared dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread in the baking dish.
  5. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
