Description

A creamy and spiced dairy-free chai latte made with coconut milk.


Ingredients

  • 2 chai tea bags
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Pinch of ground cloves
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and black pepper.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it is hot but not boiling.
  3. Add the chai tea bags to the saucepan and steep for 5-7 minutes, or until desired strength is reached.
  4. Remove the tea bags.
  5. Whisk the latte to create a frothy texture.
  6. Pour into mugs and serve immediately.
