- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup pastina pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pour the chicken broth and water into a medium saucepan.
- Bring the liquid to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Add the pastina pasta to the boiling liquid.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until the pasta is tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- Stir in the olive oil and Parmesan cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
- Serve hot.

- You can substitute vegetable broth for chicken broth for a vegetarian option.
