Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup pastina pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pour the chicken broth and water into a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring the liquid to a boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the pastina pasta to the boiling liquid.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until the pasta is tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
  6. Stir in the olive oil and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
  8. Serve hot.
