Description
A rich and creamy hot chocolate made with almond butter for a nutty twist.
Ingredients

- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons almond butter
- 1–2 tablespoons sugar, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, whisk together milk, cocoa powder, almond butter, sugar, and salt.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is hot and the almond butter is fully incorporated. Do not boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour into mugs and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use whole milk.
- Add a dash of cinnamon or cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
- Top with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired.
