Description
A simple recipe for baked salmon fillets coated in a rich, creamy sauce featuring garlic and Dijon mustard.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Spoon the creamy sauce evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream for a slightly lighter sauce.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, bake the sauce ingredients separately for 5 minutes before topping the fish.
