- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)

Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the fish pieces and shrimp.
- In a shallow dish, mix 1/4 cup flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Lightly coat the seafood pieces in the seasoned flour mixture.
- In another shallow dish, place the beaten eggs.
- In a third shallow dish, add the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each seasoned seafood piece into the eggs, letting any excess drip off.
- Then, roll the seafood in the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully add the breaded seafood poppers to the hot oil in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the poppers with a slotted spoon and place them on a wire rack set over a baking sheet to drain.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
