- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 4 ounces white chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1/4 cup crushed candy canes (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Combine cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Stir in peppermint extract and melted white chocolate.
- Gently fold in the whipped cream until just combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared crust.
- Chill for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Garnish with crushed candy canes before serving, if desired.
Notes
- For a firmer crust, bake for 8-10 minutes at 350°F (175°C) before filling.
- Ensure white chocolate is cooled before adding to the cream cheese mixture to prevent it from melting the cream cheese.
