Ingredients

- 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 4 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup toasted pecans
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and Dijon mustard for the dressing. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the mixed greens in a large bowl.
- Arrange the sliced pears and crumbled goat cheese over the greens.
- Sprinkle the toasted pecans over the salad.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving.
- Toss gently to coat all ingredients.
Notes
- Toast pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until fragrant.
- You can substitute walnuts for pecans.
