A simple recipe for a grilled sandwich featuring chicken, tomato, and cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 slices bread
- 4 oz cooked chicken breast, sliced
- 2 slices tomato
- 2 slices cheese (cheddar or provolone)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
- Layer cheese, chicken, and tomato on the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet and slice in half.
Notes
- You can use any cooked chicken you have available.
- Use a medium-low heat setting to prevent the bread from burning before the cheese melts.
