- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 head lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup crushed tortilla chips
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water according to packet directions. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, shredded cheese, and sliced olives.
- Add the cooked taco meat to the salad.
- Top with sour cream, salsa, and crushed tortilla chips.
- Toss gently before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier salad, add jalapeños.
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
