  • 1/4 cup shredded provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, and dried parsley. Mix well.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on one side of each sourdough bread slice.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  4. Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in the hot skillet.
  5. Immediately sprinkle the mozzarella and provolone cheeses over the bread.
  6. Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
  7. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately.
