Description

Simple recipe for baking tilapia fillets with a garlic butter coating.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 ounce) tilapia fillets
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Place the tilapia fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute dried parsley with 1 tablespoon of fresh chopped parsley.
  • Check the thickness of your fillets; thicker fillets require a few extra minutes of baking time.
