  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large ripe tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (230 degrees Celsius). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven while it preheats.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper until well combined. This is your herbed butter.
  3. Stretch or roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Carefully transfer the dough to a piece of parchment paper or a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal.
  5. Spread the herbed butter evenly over the surface of the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the herbed butter.
