Simple recipe for baked salmon with a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze.

- 1.5 lb salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, ginger, and black pepper to make the sauce.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush half of the honey garlic sauce evenly over the top of the salmon fillets.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the salmon from the oven. Brush the remaining sauce over the cooked salmon.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can broil the salmon for the last 1-2 minutes for a slightly caramelized top.
- For extra flavor, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the finished salmon.
