Description

Simple recipe for baked salmon with a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lb salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, ginger, and black pepper to make the sauce.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Brush half of the honey garlic sauce evenly over the top of the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove the salmon from the oven. Brush the remaining sauce over the cooked salmon.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can broil the salmon for the last 1-2 minutes for a slightly caramelized top.
  • For extra flavor, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the finished salmon.
