Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet.
  7. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the chicken and broccoli.
  8. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
