- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper into the skillet mixture. Cook until heated through.
- Remove the skillet from the heat. Fold in the cooked macaroni and crumbled bacon.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the casserole is heated through.
Notes
- You can substitute cream of cheddar soup for cream of mushroom soup for a stronger cheese flavor.
- For extra flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce to the meat mixture.
