- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Add the mashed bananas and mix until just combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the bars cool completely in the pan.
- While the bars are cooling, prepare the frosting. In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and softened butter until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until the frosting is smooth and creamy.
- Once the bars are completely cool, spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the top.
- Cut into bars and serve.
Notes
- Ensure your bananas are very ripe for the best flavor and moisture.
- For a richer frosting, you can add a tablespoon of heavy cream.
- Store leftover bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
