- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 bag (10 ounces) tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup sour cream (for topping)
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a bowl, toss the shredded chicken with the BBQ sauce until fully coated.
- Spread the tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
- Distribute the BBQ chicken evenly over the chips.
- Sprinkle the Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses over the chicken and chips.
- Top with sliced red onion and jalapeños, if using.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
- Serve immediately with sour cream on the side.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for quicker preparation.
