Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the sauce mixture.
- Arrange the coated chicken thighs in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is caramelized.
- If desired, you can broil for the last 1-2 minutes for extra caramelization, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For crispier edges, you can place the chicken thighs directly on the oven rack with a baking sheet underneath to catch drips.
- Adjust the amount of brown sugar to control the sweetness.
