Description

A rich and creamy Alfredo pasta dish featuring tender steak and spicy Cajun shrimp.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook until browned. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  3. Add shrimp to the same skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in cream cheese and heavy cream. Cook, stirring constantly, until the cream cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Reduce heat to low. Stir in Parmesan cheese, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  7. Return the cooked steak and shrimp to the skillet. Stir to coat with the sauce.
  8. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to combine.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce.
  • You can substitute chicken for steak if desired.
  • Ensure your skillet is large enough to hold all ingredients.
