Description

Simple recipe for making baked pizza roll ups filled with cheese and pepperoni.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup small pepperoni slices
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  3. Spread about 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce onto the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and top with 3-4 pepperoni slices on the sauce.
  5. Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle up toward the point. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and garlic powder. Brush this mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute your favorite pizza toppings for pepperoni.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle a little dried oregano over the cheese before rolling.
