Description
Simple baked brie bites with a sweet and tart cranberry topping, perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (14.1 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 (8 ounce) wheel of brie cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 tablespoon chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Cut each triangle in half crosswise.
- Press one half of the dough piece into the bottom and up the sides of each mini muffin cup, forming a small cup.
- Place one cube of brie cheese into each dough cup.
- Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of cranberry sauce over the brie in each cup.
- If using, sprinkle a few chopped pecans on top of the cranberry sauce.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Let the bites cool in the pan for 5 minutes before carefully removing them to a wire rack to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can use puff pastry instead of crescent roll dough for a flakier texture.
- For a richer flavor, brush the tops of the dough lightly with melted butter before baking.
