Description

A simple recipe for a moist Bundt cake flavored with eggnog, suitable for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (15.25 ounces) yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggnog, vegetable oil, eggs, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
  4. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Once cool, dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can substitute 1/2 cup of the eggnog with rum or brandy if desired.
  • If you do not have a Bundt pan, you can use a standard 10-inch tube pan.
