Description
A simple recipe for a moist Bundt cake flavored with eggnog, suitable for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (15.25 ounces) yellow cake mix
- 1 cup eggnog
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggnog, vegetable oil, eggs, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cool, dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can substitute 1/2 cup of the eggnog with rum or brandy if desired.
- If you do not have a Bundt pan, you can use a standard 10-inch tube pan.
