A simple recipe for flavorful garlic and butter flatbread.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, and salt.
- Add the warm water and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (230 degrees Celsius).
- Punch down the risen dough and divide it into two equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into an oval or round flatbread shape.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the surface of the flatbreads.
- Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
- You can use garlic powder instead of fresh garlic if needed.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle a little grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
