Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, olive oil, ginger, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the sauce and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the marinated chicken and sauce to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. In a separate small bowl, mix the cornstarch and cold water to create a slurry.
  7. Pour the slurry into the skillet and stir constantly until the sauce thickens.
