- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 pork chops
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening sauce)
- 2 tablespoons water (optional, if using cornstarch)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned. Remove pork chops from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and Dijon mustard.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- If you want a thicker sauce, whisk together cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into the simmering sauce. Cook for another minute until thickened.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the honey garlic sauce over them.
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until pork chops are cooked through and the sauce has coated them.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For best results, use bone-in pork chops.
- Adjust honey and soy sauce to your preference.
- Serve with rice or your favorite side dish.
