Description

A fast and simple stir fry featuring pre-made potstickers ready in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (about 12 oz) frozen potstickers
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell pepper (any color)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons cold water (slurry)

Instructions

  1. Cook the potstickers according to package directions until golden brown and heated through. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and carrots. Stir fry for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Add the sliced bell pepper and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and ginger. Pour the sauce over the vegetables.
  7. Bring the sauce to a simmer. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
  8. Stir in the sesame oil.
  9. Add the cooked potstickers to the skillet and toss gently to coat everything in the sauce.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute frozen vegetables like snap peas or mushrooms for the fresh vegetables listed.
  • For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.
