Simple recipe for making roast beef and cheese sandwiches.
Ingredients

- 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 sandwich rolls or bread slices
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 4 leaves lettuce
Instructions
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice or roll half.
- Spread Dijon mustard on the other side of each bread slice or roll half.
- Layer roast beef evenly on the bottom halves.
- Place two slices of Swiss cheese over the roast beef.
- Top with red onion slices and a lettuce leaf.
- Place the top bread slice or roll half on top.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can warm the roast beef slightly before assembling for a different flavor.
- Use your preferred type of cheese, such as cheddar or provolone.
