  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in the toffee bits.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Remove cookies from the oven. Immediately drizzle about 1 teaspoon of salted caramel sauce over the top of each warm cookie.
  9. Sprinkle a small amount of flaky sea salt over the caramel drizzle.
  10. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
