- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening sauce)
- 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening sauce)
Instructions
- Place chicken legs in the slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken legs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove chicken from the slow cooker and set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water. Stir this mixture into the sauce remaining in the slow cooker. Cook on high for 15-30 minutes, or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Return chicken to the slow cooker and coat with the thickened sauce.
- Serve hot.
