A quick and simple recipe for teriyaki chicken stir fry ready in 30 minutes.

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup sliced onion
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- Mix teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Add broccoli, bell pepper, carrot, and onion to the skillet. Stir fry for 5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
- You can substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu.
