Ingredients

- 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup lemon zest
- 4 large egg yolks
- Food coloring (optional, yellow)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, and egg yolks until smooth.
- If desired, add a drop or two of yellow food coloring for a brighter color.
- Pour the filling into the graham cracker crust.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is set.
- Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can use fresh lime juice as well.
- Garnish with whipped cream and extra lemon zest before serving.
