  • Diet: Gluten Free

Description

These broiled lobster tails with garlic butter are simple to make and cook quickly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (4 ounce) lobster tails
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your broiler.
  2. Place lobster tails on a cutting board. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut through the top of the lobster shell lengthwise, from the tail to the fan, being careful not to cut through the meat.
  3. Use your thumbs to gently open the shell, then lift the lobster meat upwards, separating it from the bottom shell but keeping it attached at the tail end.
  4. Press the shell halves together underneath the meat, creating a platform for the lobster.
  5. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  6. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet. Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the lobster meat.
  7. Broil for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
  8. Serve immediately with the remaining garlic butter mixture for dipping.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh lobster tails.
  • Do not overcook the lobster, as it can become tough.
  • Adjust garlic and lemon juice to your taste.
