Ingredients

  • 3 whole cloves

Instructions

  1. Heat the water until hot, but not boiling.
  2. Place the chai tea bag, maple syrup, lemon juice, cinnamon stick, cloves, and nutmeg into a mug.
  3. Pour the hot water over the ingredients.
  4. Steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Remove the tea bag and cinnamon stick before drinking.

Notes

  • For a stronger spice flavor, gently crush the cloves before adding them.
