Description

Simple recipe for tender beef tips cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the beef cubes with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the beef cubes in batches until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Do not let the garlic burn.
  6. Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let the sauce simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Return the beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is heated through and the sauce has slightly thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
  8. Stir in the fresh parsley. Serve immediately.

  • You can serve these beef tips over rice or egg noodles.
  • For extra flavor, add 1 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning with the garlic.
