Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lb beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 0.5 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the beef cubes with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the beef cubes in batches until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Do not let the garlic burn.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let the sauce simmer for 2 minutes.
- Return the beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is heated through and the sauce has slightly thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can serve these beef tips over rice or egg noodles.
- For extra flavor, add 1 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning with the garlic.
