Ingredients

- 2 oz Mezcal
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 0.75 oz Agave Nectar
- 2–3 Slices of Jalapeño (adjust to your spice preference)
- Salt for rimming the glass
- Lime wedge for garnish
Instructions
- Rim a rocks glass with salt.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the jalapeño slices.
- Add mezcal, lime juice, and agave nectar to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
- Double strain into the prepared rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lime wedge.
Notes
- For a less spicy drink, remove the seeds from the jalapeño before muddling.
- If you don’t have agave nectar, simple syrup can be used as a substitute.
