Ingredients

  • 2 oz Mezcal
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.75 oz Agave Nectar
  • 23 Slices of Jalapeño (adjust to your spice preference)
  • Salt for rimming the glass
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rim a rocks glass with salt.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the jalapeño slices.
  3. Add mezcal, lime juice, and agave nectar to the shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
  5. Double strain into the prepared rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Notes

  • For a less spicy drink, remove the seeds from the jalapeño before muddling.
