- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
- 8 ounces uncooked pasta (such as rotini or penne)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, condensed soup, water, and ranch seasoning mix.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the uncooked pasta.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, you can add a splash of milk or heavy cream at the end.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables, such as peas or corn, during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
