Description
This is a simple orange cake made in a blender. It’s quick and easy to prepare, resulting in a moist and flavorful cake.

- 2 large oranges, washed and quartered
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan or 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Remove any seeds from the orange quarters. Place the oranges, eggs, sugar, and oil in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Pour the wet ingredients from the blender into the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- You can use any type of orange, such as navel or Valencia.
- Ensure the oranges are washed well before blending.
- For a stronger orange flavor, you can add the zest of one orange to the batter.
