Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni slices
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce evenly over one side of each tortilla.
  2. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce on each tortilla.
  3. Distribute half of the pepperoni slices over the cheese on each tortilla.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Place one tortilla, pepperoni and cheese side up, into the hot skillet.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the bottom is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt.
  7. Fold the tortilla in half, pressing gently.
  8. Cook for another 1-2 minutes on each side, until the quesadilla is golden and crispy.
  9. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve.
  10. Repeat with the remaining tortilla and ingredients.

Notes

  • Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
  • Add other pizza toppings like diced peppers or onions.
  • Adjust cheese and pepperoni amounts to your liking.
