Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Stir in mashed bananas until well combined.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
