Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and scrub the potatoes. Cut them into 1/2-inch thick crinkle cut fries.
- In a large bowl, toss the potato fries with olive oil until evenly coated.
- In a small bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture over the fries and toss to coat evenly.
- Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes before drying them thoroughly and proceeding with the recipe.
