A classic seven-layer taco dip perfect for parties and gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
- 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix refried beans, taco seasoning, and water. Spread evenly in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix sour cream and salsa. Spread over the bean layer.
- Top with shredded lettuce.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add diced tomatoes.
- Scatter sliced black olives over the top.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier dip, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the refried bean mixture.
- You can substitute guacamole for the sour cream and salsa layer.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
