- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 can (15 ounces) refried beans
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons salsa
- Optional: crushed tortilla chips
Instructions
- Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned. Drain fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spread refried beans in the bottom of a large serving dish or individual bowls.
- Layer the seasoned ground beef over the beans.
- Add shredded lettuce.
- Top with diced tomatoes.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add sliced black olives.
- Dollop with sour cream and salsa.
- Serve immediately, with crushed tortilla chips if desired.

- For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with seasoned black beans or lentils.
