Description
A quick and healthy stir-fry featuring tender shrimp and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until pink and cooked through.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the shrimp and broccoli.
- Stir well to coat, and cook for another minute until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- You can substitute chicken or tofu for shrimp.
- Adjust soy sauce and oyster sauce amounts to your taste.
