  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Toss beef with flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown beef in batches.
  3. Add beef to the slow cooker.
  4. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
