- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, red onion, celery, relish, mustard, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- Add the cooled macaroni to the bowl and stir to coat evenly with the dressing.
- Season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled.
Notes
- For extra smoky flavor, add a pinch of liquid smoke to the dressing.
- You can add cooked bacon bits or shredded cheddar cheese for variations.
